Developing a student’s competency in the use of spreadsheet software is at the forefront of this unit. Students will have had the opportunity throughout the academic year to interact with and explore a range of Microsoft Office software. However, the use of Excel will require a greater deal of teaching to fully comprehend its use. Therefore, this 6-week unit of study will specifically focus on the key components of spreadsheet software and how it can be used to analyse statistical data and create visual representations of such data that can be shared with others.
